With a pile made of an 80% Bamboo/20% Cotton blend with a new 100% Cotton Canvas backing, These rugs will be a great addition to your home as well as a wonderful way to help the environment. The fiber is softer than cotton with a natural sheen similar to cashmere and silk.

Anji Mountain Bamboo Shag Rugs are produced with bamboo from the Anji Mountains of China, using the material of bamboo that is renewable and sustainable. The bamboo "trees" matured from new growth in 4-6 years.

These Bamboo Shag Rugs are naturally antimicrobial and antibacterial, which promotes a healthy environment in your home and resists odors. Bamboo grows naturally without the need for pesticides or fertilizers due to an inherent, naturally-occurring antifungal, antibacterial agent called "Bamboo Kun". Bamboo yarn is hypoallergenic which is beneficial to all, especially those with sensitive respiratory and skin conditions.
